Yale Students for Christ is a place to worship God, study the Bible, learn more about the Christian faith, meet Christians and be in authentic community. All are welcome at these activities!

Real Life

Friday Cheers 

Every Friday in September, join us out on Old Campus at 3:00pm to enjoy the warm weather and one another’s company with games, volleyball, frisbee, and/or fun snacks. 

 

Men's and Women's Ministry

Regular fellowship, discussion and activities for men and women including women’s nights, “council of man” and retreats in the spring semester. (Check ebody for events)

 

 

 

 

CCC Albany Winter Conference: Epicenter (January 2-6, 2012)

AWC is a time to hear the word of God without the distractions of daily life. It’s a time to worship God in love and gratitude along with hundreds of college students in the Northeast. Come and learn how to be used by God to build His kingdom. 

 

Spring Break in New Haven (March 2-9, 2012)

This year, our Spring Break project will be in New Haven. Opportunities to learn about and serve the city we live in, while building community and being trained in ministry. We will be partnering with other ministries (in the past, it has included Teen Challenge, Habitat for Humanity, IRIS, Faith Temple in Newhallville) and hearing from people who work and serve here. 

 


 

 

UPM (University Place Mentoring)

We seek to share God’s love in word and deed to kids in the Dwight neighborhood. We offer tutoring/mentoring, recreation, art activities, snacks, Scripture, and fun. If you'd like to be a mentor and help out on either Mondays 4:00-6:00 pm or Saturdays 10:00 am-12 noon, email charmain@aya.yale.edu. Guys especially needed.

 

 

Campus-wide Lectures and Dialogues

We sponsor campus wide events to engage the heart and mind in spiritual matters (recent events have included a coffeehouse entitled “Friendships at Yale” and a dialogue co-sponsored with SSA, Hillel and Multifaith Council called “Belief & Unbelief: A Conversation about the Foundations of our Religious Convictions”)
