"...pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Regular fellowship, discussion, and activities for men and women, including women's nights, "council of man," and retreats in the spring semester. Check EBODY for events.
This is our biggest annual event, where we spend a weekend away from Yale seeking the Lord, building new friendships, and enjoying the New England fall. Our theme this year will be "Bluebooking for Life".
We’ve used our Spring Break in a variety of ways including intersecting with the city of New Haven, going to FL for a national conference, or doing service oriented trips. It always involves fostering community, spiritual growth and outreach. Stay tuned for what we might do this year!
We hold campus-wide events to engage the heart and mind in spiritual matters. For example, last year "Couch Conversations" put out a call for honest discussions on couches everywhere of what's important to us. We've also hosted "Belief & Unbelief," a dialogue about religious convictions co-sponsored by the Secular Student Alliance, Yale Hillel, and the Multifaith Council. We also organize open forums, which are topical conversations addressing issues of faith and life.
We intersect and have opportunities to serve and learn in the city of New Haven through things like Intersect New Haven (a four-day project before Spring Semester starts) and Bridges of Hope Tutoring and Mentoring, an opportunity to tutor and mentor kids from a housing development on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
